Tehran, Iran; 66 American Citizens are taken hostages and held as prisoners for 444 days.
1982 – 1991
Lebanon; 30 American and other Western national citizens held hostage by Hezbollah terrorist. Some were killed, others died in captivity, and some were eventually released. Terry Anderson (Of Colorado) was held captive for 2,454 days (over six and a half years.)

Beirut, Lebanon; Car bomb destroys US Embassy killing 63 – 17 are American. Islamic Jihad claims responsibility.
Oct 23rd
Beirut, Lebanon; Truck bomb detonated near US Marine barracks, killing 241 Marines, minutes later another truck bomb claims 58 French Paratroopers.
Dec 12th
Kuwait City, Kuwait; Truck bomb detonated outside US Embassy – 5 are killed.
1984
Sept 20th
Beirut, Lebanon; Truck Bomb explodes outside of US Embassy annex killing 24 – 2 are military personnel.
Dec 3rd
Beirut, Lebanon; A Kuwaiti Airline is hijacked and 2 Americans are killed.
1985
April 12th
Madrid, Spain; a restaurant frequented by US military is bombed – 18 Spaniards are killed – 82 injured.
June 14th
Beirut, Lebanon; TWA flight 547 is hijacked – a US Navy diver is executed.
October 7th
Mediterranean Sea; The cruise ship Achille Lauro is seized one wheelchair bound and a single US citizen is killed. This action was linked to Libya.
Dec 18th
Rome, Italy & Vienna, Austria; Airports were bombed and 20 people killed – 5 were American – also linked to Libya.
1986
April 2nd
Athens, Greece; A bomb explodes on TWA flight 840 (travelling from Rome to Athens) killing 4 Americans and injuring 9 others.
April 5th
West Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany; Libyans detonate a bomb in a disco frequented by US military personnel - killing 2 and injuring hundreds.
1988
Dec 21st
Lockerbie, Scotland; A New York bound Pan-Am flight explodes over the town – killing all 259 on board – another 11 are killed on the ground. (Libya admits to being involved in August of 2003 and offers to pay $2.7 billion in compensation to the families.)
1993
February 26th
New York City, New York; A truck bomb explodes in the basement of the World Trade Center – killing 6 and injuring 1,040 others. Islamic Militant Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and nine others are convicted of conspiracy – and Ramzi Yousef is convicted in 1998 for the bombing.
1995
November 13th
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; A car bomb explodes at the US military HQ – killing 5 US Military personnel.
1996
June, 25th
Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; A truck bomb explodes outside of Khobar Towers military complex – killing 19 US Military personnel – hundreds of others are injured. Hezbollah members are later covicted of this attack.
1998
August 7th
Nairobi, Kenya & Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Simultaneous attacks at US Embassies kill 224 people (213 in Kenya, 11 in Tanzania) and injuring over 4,500 people. A federal Grand Jury later indites 22 men connected to the attacks – including Osama Bin Laden – who remains a fugitive from justice.
2000
June 14th
Aden, Yemen; US Navy Destroyer USS Cole is heavily damaged when a small boat carry explosives detonates next to the ship – 17 sailors are killed.
2001
September 11th
New York City, New York; Two passenger airliners are flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center – two other planes were used – one striking the Pentagon (US Military HQ) and a rural field in Pennsylvania. 2,749 are dead or missing from NY – 184 killed at the Pentagon – and the fallen 40 heroes of flight 93 who died in Pennsylvania.

Karachi, Pakistan; A bomb is detonated at a US Consulate – killing 12.
2003
May 12th
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; At a compound for “Westerners” a bomb is detonated – killing 34 – eight of whom are American.
2004
May 29-31
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Terrorist take foreign oil workers hostage from Khobar Towers – killing 22 – including one American.
June 11-19
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Terrorist kidnap and execute Paul Johnson Jr., two other Americans and a BBC cameraman.
Dec 8th
Jedda, Saudi Arabia; Terrorist storm the US consulate there and kill 5 employees.

November 9th
Amman, Jordan; Terrorist attack three separate hotels – killing 57 people.
2006
September 13th
Damascus, Syria; an attack on the US Embassy by four gunmen is disrupted by security forces.

Athens, Greece; The US Embassy is fired on by a anti-tank missile – no injuries reported.
December 11th
Algeria; more than 60 people are killed when terrorist detonate two car bombs near a ‘Constitutional Council’ sponsored by the UN.

Yemen; A care bomb and a rocket strike the US Embassy - killing 16 employees.
November 26th
Mumbai, India; In a series of attacks at several monuments popular with “Western” tourist - including two “five-star” hotels – killing 190 and injuring over 300 – 5 of whom are American.
2009

A Nigerian man is stopped while trying to detonate explosives on a flight from Amsterdam to Detriot – no one injured.
2010
May 2nd
New York City, New York; A car bomb set in Times Square is discovered and prevented from exploding.
Nine years after the World Trade Center was destroyed in an attack on "Western" civilization and yet many American can not even admit that we are living in a Nation at war. Listed above are many - but not all - of the attacks that have been deployed against the "West."
King Leonidas with his 300 best stood at Hell's Gate against a foe that promised death if they did not submit to their tyrannical rule of law.
Today American soldiers stand at the Gates of Hell again. Today soldiers are defending the civilized world against a world of mysticism and tyranny. Whether you are willing to admit it or not - WE ARE AT WAR PEOPLE!
Your only choice now is whether you stand for Liberty and Freedom or Tyranny and Mysticism.
